RFID is the latest rage, and once again, we are staying ahead of the pack! Hopkins has recently completed a full upgrade of our RFID systems.  This provides our customers with a whole new level of inventory processing and tracking that has never before been available. Here is an overview of the advanced RFID that makes Hopkins the Logistics Technology Leaders:

• Case EPCs are encoded in the SGTIN-96 format using Glacier labels.
• Pallet EPCs are in the SSCC-96 format, also using Glacier labels.
• Current standard for Matrix Dual Dipole uses a Glacier chip and has a read distance of up to 25 ft. RF EPC Class 0 Protocol with Read/Write capability.
• Two page memory: 256 bits + 32-bit CRC; Read/Write, Tag Read Rate: up to 1,000 tags/second, Write distance 10 feet (3m).
• Matrix Dual dipole tag shows outstanding read ranges on all products with the symbol AR400 reader.

Printers used:

• Zebra R110Xi - Verifies tag validity, encodes RFID data and verifies the correct encoding through a built-in RFID integrator.
• Proven and stable thermal transfer. Fully integrated ThingMagic UHF RFID Reader/Encoder for transponder types: EPC Class 1, EPC Class 0, Matrics 0+, SO18000-06B, EPC Gen2 via firmware update.
